Safety Officer

Top Engineering Construction is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Safety Officer for our project located at Gharo. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols are strictly followed on-site, creating a safe working environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies at the project site.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Identify potential hazards, take corrective actions, and report incidents.
• Organize safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for workers.
• Maintain proper records of safety audits, incidents, and compliance reports.
• Liaise with project management to promote a strong safety culture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, or relevant field.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Safety Officer in construction or industrial projects.
• Certification in NEBOSH/OSHA or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and accident prevention.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Willingness to be based at Gharo project site.
