Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor compliance with the company’s Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify and eliminate potential hazards.
• Ensure all workers and subcontractors follow proper safety procedures and use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and emergency drills.
• Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe practices.
• Prepare and maintain all safety-related documentation and reports as per project and client requirements.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and management to improve overall safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, or other authority safety requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA certification (mandatory).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in construction or MEP projects within the UAE.
• Good knowledge of UAE Health & Safety regulations and local authority requirements.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
