HSE Officer

Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with UAE health and safety laws, regulations, and company policies.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of the workplace to identify safety hazards.

Risk Assessments:
Perform risk assessments and develop safety plans to mitigate identified risks.
Update and maintain safety protocols based on risk assessment findings.

Training and Awareness:
Develop and conduct safety training sessions for employees on best practices and emergency procedures.
Promote a culture of safety awareness throughout the organization.

Incident Investigation:
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. Prepare reports on incidents and safety audits for management review.

Emergency Response:
Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
Conduct drills to ensure preparedness for emergencies.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
Prepare and submit reports to management on safety performance and compliance.

Collaboration:
Work closely with management and employees to promote a safe working environment.
Liaise with external safety agencies and regulatory bodies as required.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Certification in Safety Management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is Mandatory.
2. Minimum 4 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in logistics or transportation.
3. Strong knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations and best practices.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software.

8. Valid UAE driving license.
9. Ability to conduct safety training and presentations.
10. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, if necessary.

Pay: Up to AED4,000.00 per month
