Safety Officer

Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join our team and contribute to the growth of our Safety Products division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by implementing safety protocols, create HIRA documents, conducting inspections, and promoting a culture of safety on construction sites.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Create and enforce health and safety policies in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct Regular Inspections: Perform site inspections to identify potential hazards, ensuring that safety measures are being followed and equipment is in good condition.
• Training and Education: Lead training sessions for employees on safety practices, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), HIRA documents and emergency procedures.
• Accident Investigation: Investigate accidents and near misses to determine causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports, and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
• Emergency Response Planning: Develop and review emergency response plans, ensuring all personnel are familiar with procedures for various emergency situations.
• Promote Safety Culture: Foster a culture of safety by encouraging open communication about safety concerns and recognizing safe practices among workers.

Education:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field.
• Certification in Safety.

Experience:

• Proven track record of 2 to 3 years in safety work, preferably in the field of industrial safety products and micro-electrical products.

Required Skills and Capabilities:

• Strong knowledge of industrial safety.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
• Proficiency in using MS Office.
• Understanding industry regulations and safety standards is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Location: Mumbai and Pan India (When required)

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,672.24 - ₹20,763.31 per month
