Safety Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to join our manufacturing facility in Riyadh. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of production areas, machines, and equipment to identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, environmental regulations, and industrial safety standards.
• Lead accident/incident investigations and provide reports with corrective and preventive actions.
• Organize safety training programs and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
• Maintain and update safety documentation, risk assessments, and emergency response plans.
• Coordinate with internal departments to improve workplace safety culture.
• Monitor and manage PPE usage across all manufacturing operations.
• Report safety performance and metrics to management on a regular basis.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (required).
• Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and enforce safety regulations effectively.

Additional Requirements

• Must be currently in Riyadh (or willing to relocate).
