- Inspect Workplace & Equipment: Conduct thorough inspections of the workplace and equipment to identify safety hazards.
- Monitor Protective Equipment Usage: Ensure that all employees are utilizing the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) properly.
- Weekly First Aid Checklist: Complete and maintain a checklist for first aid supplies and equipment weekly.
- Daily Fire System Checks: Inspect fire systems daily to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Communicate Fire System Issues: Report any abnormal faults found in fire systems to the Fire AMC (Annual Maintenance Contractor) promptly.
- Waste Disposal Monitoring: Check hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal skips for fullness and coordinate disposal arrangements to prevent overflow.
- Conduct Safety Training: Organize and conduct toolbox talks and in-house safety training sessions for employees.
- Chemical Material Storage Check: Inspect the chemical material storage yard for compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain Housekeeping Standards: Ensure daily housekeeping is upheld; arrange for cleaning if standards are not met.
- Address Unplanned Issues: Communicate with the respective department HOD if any abnormalities or issues arise in plant operations.
- Identify Health Hazards: Assess and advise on areas with potential health hazards and recommend control methods to prevent recurrence.
- Record and Report Incidents: Document and report any hazards, accidents, and health-related issues in the workplace.
- Investigate Complaints: Investigate safety complaints with relevant departments and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Pre-check Safety Material Availability: Verify the availability of safety materials before they are depleted from the store.
- Raise Safety Indents: Create and follow up on safety indent requests for material delivery.
- Maintain HSE Documents: Keep health, safety, and environmental (HSE) documents and certifications organized for external audits and inspections.
