Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HSE Officer to ensure effective implementation and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across project sites. The ideal candidate will have strong field experience, sound knowledge of HSE regulations, and the ability to promote a safe working culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs
• Conduct risk assessments, HIRA, JSA, and method statement reviews
• Perform regular site inspections, audits, and safety observations
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions
• Monitor compliance with permit-to-work systems, PPE usage, and safe work practices
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and corrective actions
• Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and statistics
• Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations and international standards
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors on HSE matters
• Support emergency preparedness, drills, and environmental protection initiatives

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HSE Officer (mandatory)
• NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory)
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
• Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
