Safety Officer

Experience at least 5 years

§ Support the development of OHS policies and programs.

§ Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics.

§ Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.

§ Review existing policies and measures and update them according to legislation.

§ Initiate and organize OHS training of employees.

§ Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g., not using protective equipment)

§ Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances, etc.

§ Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.

§ Prepare risk assessments, safety daily checklists, and HSE plans.

§ Verifying the injury reports are submitted to the concerned person or team

§ Frequently conducting emergency response drills among the workers

§ Coordinate registration and removal of hazardous waste from the workplace

§ Ensure that regulations from Department of Labor inspectors are followed.
