Safety Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer to ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations at our construction site. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, and promoting a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and company policies.
• Monitor work activities and identify potential hazards.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety training sessions.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure proper use of PPE by all workers.
• Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors on safety matters.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of construction site safety experience in the UAE.
• NEBOSH IGC certification preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE construction safety regulations.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
