Job Description

Project Exposure: 20–25 Storey High-Rise Projects

Role Overview

The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring site safety practices for high-rise basebuild construction activities, ensuring compliance with EHS standards and statutory norms.

Key Responsibilities

· Implement and enforce site safety procedures for basebuild construction activities.

· Conduct daily safety inspections, toolbox talks, and safety inductions.

· Manage permit-to-work systems for high-risk activities.

· Monitor work at height, lifting operations, scaffolding, formwork, and temporary structures.

· Identify unsafe acts/conditions and ensure timely closure of observations.

· Report incidents, near misses, and maintain safety records and documentation.

· Coordinate with contractors and site teams to ensure compliance with EHS guidelines.

Key Requirements

· 5–7 years of safety experience in high-rise construction projects.

· Mandatory exposure to 20–25 storey buildings.

· Strong understanding of construction safety norms and statutory requirements.

· Relevant safety certifications preferred.

· Hands-on, site-oriented approach with good communication skills.
