Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the project HSE management plan in accordance with QatarEnergy and company procedures.
- Conduct daily site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
- Ensure strict adherence to permit-to-work (PTW) systems, method statements, and job safety analyses.
- Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and refresher trainings for all personnel.
- Monitor compliance with QatarEnergy’s Golden Rules of Safety and site-specific HSE requirements.
- Record and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, preparing reports and corrective action plans.
- Maintain all HSE documentation, inspection records, and audit reports as per client and company procedures.
- Coordinate with the client’s HSE team (QatarEnergy representatives) for inspections and audits.
- Ensure proper PPE usage, equipment certifications, and safe work practices at all times.
- Participate in emergency drills and preparedness exercises, ensuring readiness across the project site.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of HSE experience in oil & gas or industrial EPC projects.
- Must be QatarEnergy (QP) approved – approval certificate to be submitted with CV.
- Certified in NEBOSH IGC (mandatory); additional certifications such as IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, or First Aid / Firefighting are preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of QatarEnergy HSE procedures, PTW systems, and local regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
- Must be currently available in Qatar with a transferable visa and ready for immediate joining.
