About The Role
The Safety Engineer ensures system safety and regulatory compliance throughout the engine lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Perform FHA, PSSA, SSA, FMEA, FTA along development phases and engine lifecycle

Define safety methodology and objectives
-
Assess failure conditions and mitigation strategies.

Support certification safety reviews.

Participate in accident/incident investigations.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Minimum 8 years of experience within turbofan propulsion, aerospace, or other complex engineered systems
-
Solid understanding of turbofan architectures and Test results analysis (including engine build-up and dressing, AGB, ECU, modules FAN/LPC/HPC/HPT/LPT/TRF/OGV…, sub-systems and their integration constraints)

Strong knowledge of certification rules (CS-E, FAR33, ARP4754A,STANAG, MIL-HDBK…), safety analysis FHA, PSSA, SSA, FMEA, FTA, ZSA and methodologies (SORA, SAIL Class, Weibull, Reliability Block Diagram, MTBF…)

Exposure to customer, OEMs, authorities and complex environment
