Safety Supervisor

Summary:

To ensure a safe working environment at project sites by implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company HSE standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific HSE plans and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and recommend control measures.
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, client requirements, and company policies.
• Carry out site safety inspections, audits, and daily safety walks.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for site personnel.
• Monitor and ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe execution of work activities.
• Maintain all HSE documentation, records, and reports.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and client representatives on safety matters.
• Promote a safety culture and ensure continuous improvement in safety performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial) or equivalent.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IGC / IOSH preferred.
• 10 years of experience in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects
• Proven experience in project site safety management.

Pay: From KD250.000 per month
