Summary:
To ensure a safe working environment at project sites by implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company HSE standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific HSE plans and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and recommend control measures.
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, client requirements, and company policies.
- Carry out site safety inspections, audits, and daily safety walks.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for site personnel.
- Monitor and ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe execution of work activities.
- Maintain all HSE documentation, records, and reports.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and client representatives on safety matters.
- Promote a safety culture and ensure continuous improvement in safety performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial) or equivalent.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IGC / IOSH preferred.
- 10 years of experience in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects
- Proven experience in project site safety management.
