What you will do:
We are seeking a highly driven, results-oriented sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and sales, with a strong desire to drive business growth. They excel in communication and relationship-building, establishing and maintaining valuable partnerships. As a self-starter, they can work independently while staying aligned with the company’s strategic goals. Additionally, they bring experience in sales and account management, preferably within technology distribution, Pro AV, or a related industry.
As a Sales Account Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our business and fostering long-term partnerships. You'll inherit an existing portfolio of clients, become a valuable member of our exceptional sales team, and cater to a highly lucrative group of clients with recurring sales.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Execute the evolving business model as directed by leadership.
- Drive sales growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to exceed quotas and revenue targets.
- Introduce and promote both new and established products and services within your territory.
- Continuously prospect and expand the customer base within the assigned region.
Client & Vendor Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, resellers, and integrators.
- Partner with regional vendors to maximize business opportunities and strengthen strategic alliances.
- Develop deep relationships with clients through regular travel and face-to-face meetings.
- Work closely with partners to identify and implement technology solutions that fit their needs.
Business Development & Brand Awareness
- Represent JB&A at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness.
- Identify emerging technologies and recommend new vendors for JB&A to consider for distribution.
- Proactively seek opportunities to expand JB&A’s market presence.
Process, Structure & Organization
- Build structured agendas to enhance productivity and focus.
- Maintain and update sales databases and CRM records accurately.
- Complete assigned projects within the territory monthly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and sales initiatives.
What we are looking for:- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven track record in outside sales, business development, or account management.
- Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- In-depth knowledge of the video or pro-AV industries
- Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel within the designated territory to meet with clients and vendors.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required
