Role Purpose
The
Key Account Manager (KAM)
is responsible for managing, developing, and expanding strategic client relationships within the
Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors
. This role ensures customer satisfaction, drives business growth, and promotes the full range of
Industrial Instrumentation and Control Systems (IICS)
solutions.
The KAM will identify client needs, deliver tailored solutions, achieve assigned sales targets, and maximize revenue opportunities within key accounts while aligning account strategies with IICS’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Growth

Manage and grow assigned key accounts within the Saudi Oil & Gas and Petrochemical markets.

Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve or exceed sales targets.

Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.

Support the Sales Director in forecasting revenue and ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
2. Key Account Management
-
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

Serve as the primary liaison between IICS and assigned accounts, providing expert consultation on products, systems, and solutions.

Conduct regular client meetings to assess requirements, monitor satisfaction, and explore growth opportunities.

Lead the full sales cycle—from opportunity identification to proposal, negotiation, and closing—ensuring alignment with customer and business goals.
3. Contract & Negotiation Management

Negotiate contracts, commercial terms, and service agreements in coordination with legal, finance, and management teams.

Oversee contract execution to ensure compliance with agreed terms and resolve any issues or deviations promptly.
4. Client Needs Assessment & Solution Alignment

Work closely with engineering, technical, and product teams to deliver integrated control systems and digital solutions (e.g., RO plant optimization, energy AI solutions).

Provide customer feedback for solution enhancement, product development, and service improvements.
5. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer requirements in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors.

Monitor the competitive landscape and leverage insights to identify new opportunities and strengthen IICS’s market position.
Job Specifications
Industry / Domain Experience
-
Control Systems, SCADA, BMS, Instrumentation, AI, IoT, OT, or related industrial automation sectors.
Knowledge & Experience
-
5–10 years
of experience in Key Account Management or technical sales within the
Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries
.

Proven track record of managing high-value accounts and delivering complex technical solutions.
Education Requirements
-
Bachelor’s Degree in
Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
(or related technical discipline).
