Location for this position: Remote position: located in Mid-West
Title: Sales Account Representative
Reports To: Business Development Manager
Rowmark proudly manufactures, markets and distributes a wide array of innovative and quality products for our customers primarily in the awards, recognition and signage markets. Our extensive product line of sheet materials are distributed in over 80 countries around the world.
As a Sales Account Representative you will develop and grow relationships with key designated accounts (primarily franchise opportunities) to achieve company sales goals and objectives. Work closely with marketing
department to assess general customer buying trends and deliver impactful sales channel strategies and tactics to drive growth in revenue and margin growth. Contribute to short- and long-term business development strategies against company-wide targets. Manage price and product strategies to continuously improve profitability.
Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Develop and grow relationships with key designated accounts (primarily franchise opportunities) to achieve company sales goals and objectives. Achieve or exceed sales revenue and margin goals.
· Work closely with the marketing department to assess general customer buying trends and deliver impactful sales channel strategies and tactics to drive growth in revenue and margin.
· Partners with Sales, Customer Service and Marketing Operations to generate leads for products.
· Maintains and increases sales volume within assigned accounts and territory; meets and exceeds assigned quota and sales objectives as well as exceeding customer expectations regarding customer service and solution-minded interactions.
· Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business in all service categories.
· Partners with current customers and recommends value-added products that will assist in managing their business more effectively.
· Works closely with other departments of the company to ensure payments are received, disputes are resolved, and analyzes and identify customer needs.
· Solicits and explains difficult concepts while moving the sales process to closure.
· Targets strategic accounts to drive incremental growth opportunities specifically in accounts without current sales coverage.
· Keeps up to date on administrative responsibilities, such as maintaining customer service call logs and internal service records-effectively and uses CRM to drive customer penetration and opportunity identification.
· Attending trade shows and Strategic Customer meetings as agreed upon.
· Contribute to short- and long-term business development strategies against company-wide targets. Manage price and product strategies to continuously improve profitability. Assist with developing pricing strategies as needed.
· Develop and implement sales strategies to grow sales in a proactive manner; manage short and long-term sales campaigns to fit customers appropriately.
· Ensure an outstanding customer experience with a strong focus on service and support.
· Attend industry events and tradeshows or conferences to build awareness, prospects, and opportunities for Rowmark.
· Build strong, trusted relationships with customers, prospects, industry contacts and fellow employees.
· Track key metrics and outcomes to ensure repeatable success.
· Interact with current customer base to ensure accurate and expeditious order entry and satisfaction follow-up.
· Monitor sales activity, inventories, and progress of custom orders/quotes.
· Effectively communicate in-house production issues as well as market related issues so that internal and external employees are informed.
· Positively interface with cross functional groups (Engineering, Manufacturing, Scheduling and Accounting) to speed sales prospects through the selling cycle to provide prompt feedback/proposals and shipments to customer prospects.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required; MBA is a plus.
· At least 5 years of experience in a B2B sales role; knowledge of signage and personalization markets is a real plus.
· Experience in selling thermoplastics and extruded sheet into a variety of markets, specifically thermoforming market.
· Proven track record of driving sales strategies with solid results
· Previous experience working with ERP systems for evaluating sales data; CRM software for database management.
· Efficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Travel requirement: approximately 50%. This can fluctuate, but is necessary for customer visits, industry trade shows, and events.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
