Sales an Design Consultant

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Sales and Design Consultant to join our team in the furniture industry. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strong sales acumen and interior design expertise, with a proven track record of working in the UAE market. This role involves understanding client needs, creating aesthetically appealing furniture layouts, and driving sales to meet company targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand clients’ preferences, lifestyle needs, and space requirements.
• Conduct site visits when necessary to assess space and take measurements.
• Develop creative furniture layouts and design proposals tailored to individual client needs.
• Prepare mood boards, 2D/3D visualizations, and product mockups as required.
• Provide detailed design consultations including furniture placement, color schemes, and material selection.
• Guide clients through product selection and close sales effectively.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of current furniture lines, product specifications, and customization options.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Upsell and cross-sell complementary products and services.
• Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Provide after-sales support, ensuring client satisfaction from order placement to delivery and installation.
• Handle client queries and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate closely with showroom staff, logistics, and design teams.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales, and design plans.
• Report regularly on sales activity and pipeline updates to the Sales Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in the UAE in a similar sales/design role within the furniture or interior design industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design capabilities (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, or similar.
• Well-groomed, confident, and customer-focused with a passion for design and decor.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced showroom environment.
