Sales & Application Engineer – Industrial Automation & SPMs

Job Purpose

To drive business growth by combining technical expertise in automation & SPMs with strong sales capability, enabling delivery of customized, high-value industrial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify opportunities for automation and SPM projects
- Generate leads and meet clients
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and close orders

2. Application Engineering
- Understand client processes
- Develop automation and SPM concepts
- Select components and prepare technical documents

3. SPM Solution Development
- Conceptualize assembly machines, testing rigs, handling systems
- Coordinate with mechanical and electrical teams

4. Tendering & Proposal
- Handle RFQs and submissions
- Coordinate pricing and specifications

5. Client & Supplier Coordination
- Conduct technical discussions
- Liaise with OEMs and SPM partners

6. Post-Order Support
- Support execution team and resolve queries

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Instrumentation Engineering

Experience

4–10 years in industrial automation and SPM-related roles

Technical Skills

PLC, HMI/SCADA, VFDs, motion control, sensors
Understanding of machine design, pneumatics, hydraulics

Commercial Skills

Proposal preparation, costing, vendor coordination, negotiation

Soft Skills

Communication, client handling, problem-solving, self-driven

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
