Sales Assistant

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team with daily administrative tasks and customer inquiries
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and purchase orders
  • Maintain and update customer records, pricing databases, and sales reports
  • Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and internal departments to track order progress
  • Assist with scheduling deliveries and tracking project timelines
  • Respond to customer queries regarding product availability, lead times, and specifications
  • Help with compiling bids and documentation for construction projects
  • Organize and maintain product samples, brochures, and technical documentation
  • Attend site visits or trade shows occasionally (if required)
  • Support after-sales service by handling complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (a diploma or certificate in business, construction, or sales is a plus)
  • Previous experience in a sales support or admin role (construction or related field preferred)
  • Knowledge of construction products, materials, or services is a strong advantage
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); CRM experience is a plus
  • Ability to read basic construction drawings or specs is an advantage (not mandatory)
  • Team player with a customer-first attitude

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with occasional visits to construction sites, warehouses, or trade counters
  • Fast-paced and deadline-driven
  • Collaborates closely with sales managers, estimators, site supervisors, and procurement teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
