Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team with daily administrative tasks and customer inquiries
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and purchase orders
- Maintain and update customer records, pricing databases, and sales reports
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and internal departments to track order progress
- Assist with scheduling deliveries and tracking project timelines
- Respond to customer queries regarding product availability, lead times, and specifications
- Help with compiling bids and documentation for construction projects
- Organize and maintain product samples, brochures, and technical documentation
- Attend site visits or trade shows occasionally (if required)
- Support after-sales service by handling complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (a diploma or certificate in business, construction, or sales is a plus)
- Previous experience in a sales support or admin role (construction or related field preferred)
- Knowledge of construction products, materials, or services is a strong advantage
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); CRM experience is a plus
- Ability to read basic construction drawings or specs is an advantage (not mandatory)
- Team player with a customer-first attitude
Work Environment:
- Office-based with occasional visits to construction sites, warehouses, or trade counters
- Fast-paced and deadline-driven
- Collaborates closely with sales managers, estimators, site supervisors, and procurement teams
