The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Assistant to join our trading team. This role is the "engine room" of our sales operations - you will be responsible for ensuring that our traders can focus on market movements while you handle the vital administrative threads that keep our global supply chain moving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trading Operations Support: Execute day-to-day administrative tasks to support the trading desk, ensuring all transaction records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Supplier Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for global suppliers to coordinate orders, verify product availability, and manage documentation.
• Email & Follow-up Management: Manage correspondence with clients and partners. You will be responsible for ensuring no lead goes cold and every query receives a timely response.
• RFQ (Request for Quotation) Processing: Work directly with RFQ requests, gathering necessary data, and preparing preliminary quotes for trader approval.

Candidate Requirements:

• Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal skills with the ability to foster professional relationships across diverse global cultures.
• Sales Aptitude: Previous experience in a sales or commercial role is highly desirable and will help you excel in supporting our trading desk.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating CRM systems, email automation tools, and professional spreadsheets to maintain operational efficiency.
• Proactive Mindset: A self-starter who can anticipate trader needs and identify potential bottlenecks before they impact the workflow.
