Sales Associate and Interior Designer

Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and functional interior spaces that meet client needs and aesthetic standards. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential remodels to commercial renovations, utilizing cutting-edge design software and techniques. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong project management skills, a keen eye for color and lighting, and proficiency in various design tools.

Duties

• Develop comprehensive interior design concepts that align with client objectives and brand identity.
• Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using software such as SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Rhino 3D, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Prepare construction documents and specifications, including lighting design and remodeling details.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure project specifications are met within budget and timeline constraints.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept through completion, ensuring quality control and adherence to deadlines.
• Source materials, furnishings, lighting fixtures, and finishes that complement the overall design aesthetic.
• Assist in contract negotiations and oversee project implementation during renovation or construction phases.
• Present design proposals effectively through visual presentations and mood boards.
• Stay current with industry trends in interior design, lighting sales, CAD drafting, color theory, and sustainable practices.

Experience

• Proven experience in interior design or related field with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator), 3ds Max or 3ds <PERSON>.
• Solid understanding of drafting standards, CAD workflows, lighting design principles, remodeling processes, and construction documentation.
• Experience managing projects from initial concept to installation with excellent project management skills.
• Knowledge of contracts, budgeting techniques, sales strategies related to lighting or furnishings is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration.
