About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Beauty & Cosmetics Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a brand ambassador, helping clients discover products that enhance their natural beauty. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of skincare, makeup, and fragrance trends, with a natural ability to build lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities1. Customer Experience

• Greet and engage every client with warmth and professionalism.
• Conduct personalized consultations to understand client needs, skin types, and beauty goals.
• Demonstrate product application techniques (e.g., foundation matching, skincare layering, fragrance testing).
• Handle client concerns or returns with empathy and follow company policies.

2. Sales & Performance

• Meet or exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as average transaction value (ATV) and units per transaction (UPT).
• Upsell and cross-sell complementary products (e.g., matching lipstick with foundation, primer with setting spray).
• Promote loyalty programs, gift with purchase (GWP), and seasonal promotions.
• Support in-store events, product launches, and pop-ups.

3. Product Knowledge & Training

• Stay up-to-date on brand ingredients, benefits, and usage instructions.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions, vendor classes, and certifications.
• Educate customers on clean beauty, vegan/cruelty-free options, and ingredient safety.

4. Store Operations

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
• Restock shelves, testers, and sanitize sampling tools regularly.
• Process transactions accurately using POS system (cash, card, gift cards).
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and returns/discrepancies.

QualificationsRequired

• 1+ year of retail or sales experience (beauty/cosmetics preferred).
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Basic math and cash-handling accuracy.

Preferred

• Esthetician or makeup artistry certification (e.g., CIDESCO, IMATS, licensed cosmetologist).
• Familiarity with retail POS software (e.g., Shopify, Square, Oracle XStore).
• Bilingual ability (e.g., English/Spanish, English/Mandarin) a plus.

Pay: QAR60,000.00 - QAR80,000.00 per year
