Sales Associate- Cell Phone Store

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product demonstrations, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for all customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and have a passion for retail sales.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products to meet their needs.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
• Handle cash and perform cash handling duties accurately.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising and stocking practices.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant items.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to assist customers effectively.

Skills

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Experience in retail sales.
• Proficiency in using POS systems for transactions and inventory management.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Ability to perform stocking duties while maintaining an organized workspace.
• Experience with merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Knowledge of phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week
