Sales Associate for Millwork and Stone Fabrication

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Associate for Millwork (Kitchens, Closets and Paneling) and Stone Fabrication to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers to provide expert advice on our products, assisting with layout design, and driving sales through exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renovation and construction, along with strong communication skills to effectively convey product benefits and features.

Duties

• Engage customers in both inside and outside sales environments, providing knowledgeable assistance on millwork and stone fabrication products.
• Conduct product demonstrations and ensuring customers understand the value of our offerings.
• Negotiate terms and close sales while upselling complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Assist in merchandising efforts to create appealing displays that attract customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and following up on leads.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure stock levels are maintained and assist in stocking merchandise as needed.
• Field Measure for pricing.

Skills

• Proven experience in sales, particularly in high-end retail or construction-related fields.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, CAD, or similar design software is highly desirable to have an understanding of spaces and product.
• Strong negotiation skills with a focus on upselling techniques.
• Familiarity with renovation, remodeling, interior design, and sales concepts.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage multilingual customers effectively.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and tasks efficiently.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.

Base Pay: $21.06 - $25.36 per hour
