Sales Associate / Shop Assistant

A Sales Associate works in a retail store and helps customers buy products while keeping the store organized.

Main Duties

• Greet customers when they enter the store
• Help customers find clothes/items they need
• Recommend products and suggest offers
• Explain product details (size, price, style, etc.)
• Handle billing / cashier work (POS system)
• Arrange and restock items on shelves
• Maintain store cleanliness and display
• Assist in promotions and sales campaigns
• Handle returns or exchanges

Skills Required

• Good communication (English is important in Oman malls)
• Friendly attitude & customer service skills
• Basic math (for cashier work)
• Teamwork
• Sales skills (upselling products)
