Job Description

Fit-Out / Interior Materials & Building Technologies
Location: UAE (Sharjah / Dubai coverage)

1- Role Purpose:

The Business Development Manager is directly responsible for converting live UAE fit-out projects into secured sales orders for Provers Group’s interior wooden panels and building technology solutions.

This is a revenue-driven, field-based role, not a marketing or relationship-only position.

2- Core Responsibilities:

A. Project & Pipeline Development (40%)

  • Identify and track live and upcoming fit-out projects across UAE
  • Build and maintain a real project pipeline (not contacts)
  • Engage:
  • Fit-out contractors
  • Main contractors
  • Joinery firms
  • Project procurement teams
  • Monitor:
  • BOQs
  • Tender stages
  • Technical submittals
  • Award timelines

B. Sales Execution & Closures (35%)

  • Prepare and submit:
  • Commercial proposals
  • Pricing for BOQs
  • Value-engineering alternatives
  • Actively follow up until:
  • Technical approval
  • Commercial agreement
  • Purchase order issuance
  • Negotiate:
  • Pricing
  • Delivery timelines
  • Payment terms
  • Close sales orders and project awards

Key metric: Signed PO / Contract value

C. Consultant & Specification Engagement (15%)

  • Engage consultants and designers to:
  • Get Provers Group products specified or approved
  • Replace competitors during value engineering
  • Ensure technical compliance of products with:
  • Project specifications
  • Authority requirements

D. Reporting & Internal Coordination (10%)

  • Weekly pipeline reporting:
  • Project name
  • Value
  • Stage
  • Expected closing date
  • Coordinate with:
  • Technical team
  • Procurement
  • Logistics
  • Maintain CRM discipline (no verbal-only updates)

3- What This Role Is NOT

Not a relationship-only role
Not a “business card collection” role
Not a marketing or branding position
Not paid for meetings — paid for results

4- Mandatory Experience & Profile (Non-Negotiable)

  • 7–12 years UAE experience in:
  • Fit-out
  • Interior materials
  • Joinery
  • Construction product sales
  • Proven history of:
  • Closing project-based sales
  • Working with BOQs & tenders
  • Strong contractor network in UAE
  • English mandatory (Arabic is a plus)
  • Valid UAE driving license is a must.

5- Performance KPIs:

Qualified project pipeline AED 15–25 million

Monthly order intake AED 500k – 1.5M

Conversion rate ≥ 20–25%

Average deal closure time ≤ 90 days

Accuracy of forecasts ≥ 80%

Salary + Commission Structure:

This structure is deliberately designed to scare off talkers and excite performers.

A. Fixed Salary

  • depending on experience

B. Commission Structure

Commission paid ONLY on:

  • Collected revenue (not invoice value)
  • Approved & delivered orders

Commission Slabs

Monthly Collected Sales:

Will be shared with you

C. Project Bonus

  • 0.5% one-time bonus on:
  • Strategic projects
  • New key accounts
  • Consultant-specified wins

Paid upon first collection.

D. Probation Structure:

First 90 Days:

  • Reduced base
  • No commission below AED 250k/month

Post-Confirmation:

  • Full salary + full commission structure

6- Termination & Protection Clause

Include:-

  • 3 consecutive months with zero closed sales = termination
  • Pipeline without conversions does not count
