Oilexec is hiring for one of our oil and gas client Sales / Business Development Executive
Chemical Engineer to drive the sales and business development of chemicals in the oil & gas and drilling segments
Salary Package: QAR 12,000 – 16,000 gross include All per month (flexible depending on the candidate’s experience and performance).
The candidate will also be eligible for sales incentives upon achieving targets.
- Duty : 8 hours per day, 6 days a week. As this is a key role, the employee should be available to attend any urgent matters if required.
- Language: Hindi & English
- Candidate Source: Candidates with relevant Oil & Gas industry experience are acceptable, both local and overseas.
Detailed Job Description:
The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of chemical products and their applications along with the ability to engage in technical discussions with clients, propose suitable solutions, and sales conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities for chemical products in the oil & gas and drilling sectors.
Conduct client visits, technical discussions, and product presentations to understand requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
Coordinate and establish strategic partnerships with a network of trusted suppliers and manufacturers worldwide and negotiate favorable terms, ensuring a reliable and consistent supply of materials for our clients.
Submit proposals, quotations, and tenders as per client requirements.
Research and identify new chemical products relevant to the oil & gas and drilling sectors, based on market demand.
Manage sales and trading operations for Drilling Fluids, Cementing Chemicals, Stimulation Chemicals and Commodity Chemicals.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the oil & gas and manufacturing sectors.
Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery of products and equipment.
Provide technical support and product recommendations based on client requirements.
Ensured compliance with safety and regulatory standards in chemical handling and trading.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in chemical sales, preferably in oil & gas or drilling chemicals.
Strong knowledge of Drilling Fluids, Cementing Chemicals, Stimulation Chemicals and Commodity Chemicals, and their field applications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to handle both technical and commercial discussions with clients.
Valid Qatar driving license (preferred)
