Sales Consultant

The Branch Sales Officer is responsible for driving life insurance sales within an assigned Habib Bank Limited (HBL) branch. Acting as a representative of Jubilee Life Insurance, the officer engages walk-in customers to identify their financial protection needs, offers suitable life insurance solutions, and ensures a high standard of customer service. The role also involves proactive follow-up with potential clients through leads provided by branch colleagues and management. In addition to a basic salary, the Branch Sales Officer earns attractive commissions and valuable monthly incentives, which often exceed the base salary, providing excellent earning potential. The officer is expected to achieve assigned sales targets while building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement:
  • Approach walk-in customers at the designated bank branch to present suitable life insurance products.
  • Actively listen to customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance plans based on their profile.
  • Lead Conversion:
  • Contact potential customers through leads shared by bank staff or sales team.
  • Conduct follow-ups via phone calls, WhatsApp, or in-person meetings as needed to convert leads into sales.
  • Sales Execution:
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets assigned by the Sales Manager.
  • Prepare and submit daily sales reports and client interaction logs.
  • Bank Liaison:
  • Build strong relationships with bank staff to ensure smooth collaboration and lead generation.
  • Represent Jubilee Life Insurance professionally within the bank branch environment.
  • Product Knowledge & Training:
  • Stay updated with all insurance products, policy terms, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Participate in regular product and sales training sessions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Intermediate, Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance)
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in sales, preferably in insurance, banking, or financial services
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities
  • Customer service oriented

  • Job Type: Full-Time (Branch-based)
  • Compensation: Base salary + Commission + Incentives
  • Work Location: Assigned bank branch (may rotate within nearby branches as required)
