Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate leads for outside event opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other sales techniques.
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients and understand their needs and preferences.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including event planners and operations, to develop customized proposals and quotes for clients.
- Present proposals and conduct site visits to showcase our capabilities and facilities for hosting outside events.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with clients, ensuring profitability while meeting their budgetary requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards revenue targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights.
Operating Environment
- High level of flexibility and adaptability to accommodate last-minute changes and client requests.
- Emphasis on building and nurturing long-term client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.
- Occasional travel may be required to attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Close collaboration with cross-functional teams including design, marketing and production & delivery to ensure seamless event execution.
