Mid-South Metals is hiring a Sales Data Entry Specialist to join our team in Shreveport. This position plays a key role in supporting the quoting and order process by ensuring all data is entered accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining precision in a fast-paced environment.

This role reports directly to the Inside Sales Manager and is an important part of the team that helps our Business Partners receive timely quotes, orders, and updates.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter quotes, orders, and pricing into company systems
• Review and verify information for accuracy and completeness
• Communicate with sales staff and purchasing to clarify order details
• Maintain updated records in Excel, CRM, and custom intranet tools
• Support the sales team by providing quick and accurate information
• Identify and report data discrepancies or workflow issues
• Assist with general administrative support as needed

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred; High School Diploma required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience with CRM or ERP systems preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Prior experience in manufacturing, metals, or sales support is a plus but not required.
