If you’ve spent time inside a company where a 3-person approval chain stood between you and sending a quote, you’ll understand immediately why we exist — and why this role is different.

Role Overview

This isn’t a role for someone who needs a playbook handed to them. You’ll work our existing subscriber base, inbound leads, and outbound targets — and you’ll figure out what works. We have tools, data, and support. What we don’t have is someone to hold your hand through every conversation.

You will engage warm subscribers who haven’t yet converted, qualify inbound interest, and generate pipeline for our Account Executives. This is a high-activity, high-performance role. The right person here will outperform what they made at their last company within 90 days — not because we grind harder, but because we actually let you execute.

This role is NOT for you if:

  • You need a manager to review your emails before sending them
  • You prefer a full pipeline handed to you each morning
  • Your idea of a great sales tool is a spreadsheet someone else built
  • You measure your value by hours logged instead of deals moved
  • You’re looking for a stable 9-to-5 with a clear corporate ladder

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Prospecting

  • Make 100+ outbound calls per day to XBuild subscribers and inbound leads
  • Convert subscriber interest into qualified sales opportunities
  • Maintain consistent daily outreach to generate pipeline

Multi-Channel Engagement

  • Engage prospects through calls, email, text, and LinkedIn
  • Move prospects through the top of the funnel toward scheduled meetings
  • Build rapport fast and keep conversations productive

Lead Qualification

  • Identify decision-makers and determine readiness to purchase
  • Qualify prospects and move them forward in the pipeline
  • Work closely with Account Executives and Enterprise Sales

CRM & Pipeline Discipline

  • Keep HubSpot current — log every call, outcome, and follow-up task
  • Maintain clean pipeline visibility for the team
  • Own your numbers without being asked

Sales & Marketing Feedback Loop

  • Report on subscriber quality and campaign performance
  • Share patterns from prospect conversations to sharpen targeting

What We’re Actually Looking For

Skills can be trained. Identity can’t. The SDRs who thrive here see themselves as operators, not employees. They own their outcomes. They’ve built their own systems because they got tired of waiting for someone to build one for them.

Qualifications

Required

  • 1–3 years in Sales Development, Inside Sales, or Business Development
  • Experience closing deals over the phone
  • Comfortable making 100+ outbound calls per day
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Comfortable working without a lot of process overhead

Preferred

  • Experience in high-volume outbound or call center environment
  • CRM experience (HubSpot preferred)
  • SaaS sales background
  • Familiarity with construction, roofing, or home services
  • Using AI tools (ChatGPT, writing tools, automation) in your daily workflow

Compensation Structure

We structure comp in a way that rewards operators and creates risk for people who need to coast. Lower base. Meaningful commission ceiling. Performance bonuses tied to ARR contribution.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
