Sales Development Representative

About The Role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) , you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities within the United States restaurant market. You will focus primarily on outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification, engaging restaurant owners and key decision-makers to identify fit and schedule high-quality discovery meetings for the Account Executive team.

This role is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience in US-based sales , who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment and understands the fundamentals of B2B SaaS selling. Experience in restaurant sales or restaurant technology is a strong plus.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Proactively generate new leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other prospecting channels targeting US-based restaurants.
  • Qualify inbound leads by conducting initial discovery conversations to assess needs, budget, authority, and timing.
  • Book qualified meetings and demos for Account Executives, ensuring smooth handoff and CRM documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with restaurant owners and decision-makers to create pipeline opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, conversations, and pipeline updates in CRM.
  • Consistently meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (calls, emails, meetings booked, pipeline generated).
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to refine outreach messaging, country-specific strategies, and positioning.
  • Stay updated on US restaurant industry trends and competitor offerings to enhance prospect conversations.

What We're Looking For

  • Mandatory: Minimum 1 year of experience in US-based sales (B2B or SaaS preferred).
  • Strong understanding of outbound prospecting and sales qualification frameworks.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Confidence in cold calling and handling objections professionally.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a performance-based environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage pipeline efficiently.
  • Good to Have: Experience selling to restaurants, restaurant tech, POS systems, CRM, or AI-based solutions.
