Summary

We are seeking a driven and customer-oriented individual to join our sales team as a Sales Development Representative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with customers, generating leads, closing sales, and building lasting relationships. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service while meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Support

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls, emails, and messages in a professional manner.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and effectively.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information about products, services, pricing, and promotions.

Sales & Lead Generation

  • Identify potential sales opportunities and generate leads through calls, emails, and follow-ups.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Convert prospects into customers and successfully close sales.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Conduct follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Accurately record customer interactions and updates in the CRM system.

Issue Resolution & Coordination

  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently to maintain satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and service delivery.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and share regular sales and performance reports.
  • Maintain proper documentation of leads, conversions, and customer feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.

Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a call center environment (preferred).
  • Previous call center experience will be considered an added advantage.
