Summary
We are seeking a driven and customer-oriented individual to join our sales team as a Sales Development Representative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with customers, generating leads, closing sales, and building lasting relationships. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service while meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction & Support
- Manage inbound and outbound calls, emails, and messages in a professional manner.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and effectively.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information about products, services, pricing, and promotions.
Sales & Lead Generation
- Identify potential sales opportunities and generate leads through calls, emails, and follow-ups.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Convert prospects into customers and successfully close sales.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Conduct follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Accurately record customer interactions and updates in the CRM system.
Issue Resolution & Coordination
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently to maintain satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and service delivery.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and share regular sales and performance reports.
- Maintain proper documentation of leads, conversions, and customer feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a call center environment (preferred).
- Previous call center experience will be considered an added advantage.
