Sales Development Representative / Call Sales Agent

Zawiah AE is a UAE-based premium animal feed and fodder company supplying farms, equestrian clubs, polo clubs, stables and livestock operations across the UAE and GCC. We are growing rapidly and need a driven Sales Development Representative to own our lead pipeline — handling inbound enquiries from social media campaigns and conducting structured outbound outreach via WhatsApp and phone to build and grow our customer base.

This is a high-activity, results-driven role. You will be the first point of contact for every lead and the engine behind Zawiah AE's sales growth.

Inbound Lead Handling — Social Media Campaigns

Zawiah AE runs active paid and organic campaigns on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Snapchat. Leads arrive as WhatsApp messages, DMs and ad form submissions. Your job is to respond fast, qualify the lead, and move them toward an order.

  • Respond to every inbound WhatsApp lead within 30 minutes during working hours — speed is the single biggest factor in inbound conversion.
  • Qualify leads by asking the right questions: what animals do they keep, what quantities do they need, what is their location, have they bought before.
  • Match the lead to the right Zawiah AE product and provide pricing, availability and delivery details clearly.
  • Follow up on leads who enquired but did not convert — a structured 3-touch follow-up sequence (Day 1, Day 3, Day 7).
  • Log every inbound lead in the tracking sheet: source, date, animal type, product interest, outcome.
  • Escalate complex or large-volume enquiries to the CEO with a full lead summary.

Outbound Prospecting — WhatsApp & Call Outreach

Zawiah AE runs active WhatsApp marketing outreach targeting farms, stables, equestrian clubs, polo clubs, camel owners and livestock operations across the UAE. When a prospect receives a message and responds or shows interest, the SDR takes over — qualifying the lead, answering questions and driving the conversation toward an order. You will also conduct proactive outbound calls and messages to new and lapsed prospects.

  • Monitor outbound WhatsApp marketing replies and respond promptly to every interested prospect.
  • Qualify each respondent: what animals do they keep, what quantities do they need, which products are relevant, what is their location.
  • Conduct proactive outbound calls and WhatsApp messages to prospects who have not yet engaged.
  • Run a structured 3-step follow-up sequence on every prospect: initial contact → product information or stock update → final check-in if no response.
  • Use stock arrival alerts as natural outreach hooks: "Fresh Rhodes Grass just landed — are you stocked up for the month?"
  • Record every outreach attempt and outcome in the daily tracking sheet. Update contact status after every interaction.
  • Identify and flag high-potential prospects who have not yet ordered — escalate with a recommendation for a tailored approach.

Sales Conversion & Order Coordination

This role is not just about generating conversations — it is about converting them into orders. Once a lead is qualified and interested, you own the handoff to fulfilment.

  • Confirm product availability with the operations team before committing to a customer.
  • Communicate pricing, minimum order quantities, payment terms and delivery timelines accurately.
  • Coordinate with the operations/logistics team to confirm and schedule deliveries.
  • Follow up after delivery to confirm satisfaction and plant the seed for the next order.
  • Identify upsell opportunities — customers ordering one product who may benefit from adding another (e.g. hay buyer introduced to pellets).

Reporting & Pipeline Management

  • Update the daily lead tracking sheet every single day — no exceptions.
  • Share a weekly summary with the CEO: contacts reached, leads qualified, orders converted, pipeline value.
  • Flag patterns: which segments convert fastest, which products generate the most enquiries, which outreach messages get the best response rates.
  • Contribute to improving scripts, message templates and follow-up sequences based on what is working.

Who We Are Looking For - Must-Have Requirements

  • Fluent Arabic speaker — the majority of outreach is conducted in Arabic with UAE and GCC customers.
  • Strong English — for internal communication, reporting and professional correspondence.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales, telesales, call centre or customer-facing role.
  • Comfortable conducting consistent daily outbound outreach — WhatsApp and phone calls, not occasionally but as a daily discipline.
  • Excellent WhatsApp communication skills — knows how to be professional, warm and persuasive in a chat environment.
  • Organised and self-disciplined — can manage a large contact list without dropping the ball on follow-ups.
  • UAE-based or willing to relocate/work UAE hours.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in agriculture, animal feed, livestock, equestrian or related industries — or a genuine interest in these sectors.
  • Familiarity with WhatsApp Business and basic CRM or spreadsheet tracking.
  • Existing network in UAE farms, stables, equestrian clubs or polo circles.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
