Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and coachable Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our growing SaaS-focused sales team in the cybersecurity and AI space. This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who is comfortable handling inbound leads, qualifying prospects, and setting meetings for Account Executives. Exposure to B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, data platforms, or AI-driven solutions is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound leads from demo requests, trials, webinars, and marketing campaigns

  • Qualify prospects based on ICP criteria including company size, use case, budget, and decision-making authority

  • Schedule discovery calls and product demos for Account Executives

  • Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline hygiene within the CRM

  • Conduct timely follow-up with inbound prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn

  • Clearly articulate the company’s SaaS, cybersecurity, or AI value proposition

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to optimize conversion rates and lead quality

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in a sales development, BDR, inside sales, or customer-facing role within B2B environments

  • Prior remote work experience is mandatory, with demonstrated fluency using collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar; candidates without proven remote work experience will not be considered. Experience working with US or UK-based companies or customers is required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging prospects by phone and video

  • Experience using a CRM platform such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional home office setup

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, AI, or enterprise technology environments

  • Familiarity with lead qualification frameworks (e.g., MEDDICC, BANT, CHAMP)

  • Experience handling inbound demo or trial-driven sales motions

Tools & Technology

  • CRM: Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar

  • Sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or similar)

  • VoIP/dialer tools and video conferencing platforms

  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator

  • Google Workspace or Microsoft 365

  • Slack and project/task management tools
