What This Role Is About

A large FMCG group is seeking a Sales Director, based in Egypt, to lead national sales strategy and execution across all channels.


You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening market presence, and leading large sales teams to deliver consistent and sustainable results across traditional and modern trade.


This role is ideal for a seasoned FMCG sales leader with deep, hands-on experience in the Egyptian market and a proven track record of building high-performing teams and delivering strong commercial outcomes.


You will work closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to align sales strategy with business objectives and ensure best-in-class in-market execution.


Your ability to manage complexity across channels, lead teams at scale, and drive performance will be central to the success of this role.


The Client’s Definition of the Ideal Fit

  • 12+ years of experience in the FMCG industry, with end-to-end exposure across multiple sales channels in Egypt.
  • Proven, long-term experience operating within the Egyptian FMCG market, with a deep understanding of local customers and trade dynamics.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large sales teams, with a strong track record of driving results and consistently achieving targets.
  • Strong expertise in sales strategy, route-to-market models, distributor management, and execution excellence.
  • Proven ability to deliver sustained revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
