QLM Search is partnering a specialist ingredients group that is looking to appoint a Sales Director. Reporting to the business unit's Commercial/Sales leader and forming part of a the leadership team, the role will be instrumental in delivering their 3-5 year commercial strategy in this specialist division.
Key Responsibilities
-Develop and execute effective Ingredient category management strategies to drive sales and profit growth for the business across the QSR category.
-Analyse market trends, customer insights and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to maximize sales potential.
-Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure the business is meeting their needs and driving customer satisfaction.
-Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
-Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments to ensure alignment and collaboration across the business.
-Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns and product launches.
Candidates MUST have proven experience as a Senior Sales Manager / Sales Director within the Ingredients or Flavors industry and specifically deep rooted knowledge of QSR, ideally bakery/confectionary/sweet categories. You will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a small team. You need strong knowledge of category management strategies across Ingredients with a track record of driving growth through effective implementation.
