About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and technically sound Sales Engineer with a background in industrial or machinery sales. The role involves managing the complete sales cycle — from lead generation to deal closure, preparing client offers, and maintaining long-term relationships through upselling and service support. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with extensive travel, client interaction, and representing the company at trade exhibitions and industry events.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Lead Management
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industrial machinery segment.
- Generate, track, and manage leads through various channels, including field visits, trade exhibitions, and referrals.
- Prepare and present technical and commercial offers tailored to client requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to finalize and close sales deals.
- Ensure all documentation related to quotations, proposals, and agreements is completed accurately and on time.
Client Relationship & Account Management
- Maintain regular follow-ups with potential and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
- Collaborate with the service and technical teams to ensure successful machine installation, commissioning, and customer support.
- Handle client feedback and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution.
Exhibitions & Market Development
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade fairs, and technical seminars for sales and lead generation.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence on competitors, pricing trends, and customer needs.
- Promote new product lines and technological innovations to prospective customers.
Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with internal departments such as design, production, and finance to ensure client requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, offers, sales activities, and order status in CRM or reporting formats.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and key client updates.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial / pharmaceutical machinery and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in preparing detailed quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
- Ability to handle long sales cycles and build relationships with technical and purchase teams.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and open to extensive travel.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Preferred Industry Experience:
- Machinery sales for Pharma, Food, Chemical, or Process Equipment sectors.
- Experience dealing with engineering consultants, project teams, and plant heads.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
