Sales Engineer

SALES ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITY

Customer needs assessment: Understand client requirements, problems, and technical needs.

  • Solution design: Develop customized technical solutions and proposals that meet client needs.
  • Presentations and demonstrations: Deliver technical presentations and product demos, tailoring them to address specific customer pain points.
  • Technical support: Provide pre-sales technical assistance and answer in-depth technical questions during the sales process.
  • Liaison with internal teams: Act as a bridge between the sales team and product development or engineering teams.

Sales cycle and closing

  • Relationship building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Proposal and contract support: Help with the technical aspects of proposals, contract terms, and negotiations.
  • Sales targets: Work with sales teams to secure and renew orders and meet sales goals.
  • Market research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies.

Post-sales

  • After-sales support: Provide post-sales support, troubleshooting, and technical assistance to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Customer training: Train customers on how to use the products effectively.
  • Feedback loop: Gather customer feedback to inform product improvements and communicate issues to management.
