Position Overview:


As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will engage with clients to promote DCP products, emphasizing both their quality and our reliable after-sales technical support. Your responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, recommending the most suitable products to achieve sales targets, and expanding our market share. You will also provide both pre-sales technical support and post-sales follow-up, developing long-term relationships with clients. A key focus is strategizing to effectively reach all customers in the region, ensuring their needs are met and fostering ongoing partnerships.


Responsibilities :

  • Organizing and conducting daily sales visits to concrete factories and projects.
  • Identifying and establishing new business opportunities, including checking for new projects and customers.
  • Sending orders to the sales support team, managing stock, and overseeing delivery, offloading, and scheduling.
  • Providing pre-sales technical support (e.g., product samples, compliance sheets, and technical submittals).
  • Offering post-sales support and technical assistance when required.
  • Following up on material approvals with consultants and collection from customers.
  • Providing quality training at sites with construction teams.
  • Analyzing monthly sales per customer, comparing with previous months, and setting next month's goals.
  • Preparing material submittals according to project specifications.
  • Creating monthly forecasts and reports (for mega projects, collections, and new projects in Qatar).
  • Sharing reports with direct manager and team.
  • Meeting with the manager to evaluate achievements and develop the business.
  • Reviewing product updates from the technical department and preparing a business plan for the next year.



Qualifications:



Education:


  • A Bachelor's degree of civil engineering is required.


Languages:


  • Arabic: Native
  • English: Really Good



Years of experience:


  • Minimum of one year experience is preferred



Key Competencies/Skills:


  • Very good Knowledge in MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Great negotiations skills
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to provide technical solutions to client issues.
