Sales Engineer

Job Description (Roles / Responsibilities / Authorities)

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting, selling, and providing technical support for DC assembly tools and solutions across the automotive, Tier-1 & Tier-2 OEM, aerospace, electronics, defence, and white goods industries within Pune and nearby regions such as Nashik, Aurangabad, Belgaum, and Dharwad.
This role requires a strong blend of technical understanding and sales capability to develop business opportunities, manage customer relationships, and achieve defined sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential customers in automotive, aerospace, electronics, defence, and white goods manufacturing sectors.
• Understand customer assembly processes and recommend suitable DC tool solutions.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and application-based consultations.
• Generate leads, prepare proposals, and follow up to successfully close sales.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the DC Assembly segment.
• Visit customer sites regularly for feedback, troubleshooting, and after-sales support.
• Track competitor activities, market trends, and new technologies in the assembly domain.
• Provide inputs for product positioning, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate installation, commissioning, and training for DC tool solutions.
• Handle warranty cases, technical issues, and escalations in coordination with the service/operations team.
• Maintain excellent customer satisfaction through continuous support and communication.

Educational & Professional Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant sales experience in DC assembly tools, assembly systems, or industrial automation.
• Knowledge of tightening techniques, torque-and-angle methods will be an added advantage.
