We are seeking passionate and driven Sales personnel to join our dedicated sales team. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and providing technical, tailored solutions for firefighting systems. This role bridges the gap between engineering, sales, and client needs, ensuring compliance with local civil defense regulations and international standards.

Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development: Identify and develop new sales opportunities, generating leads among consultants, contractors, and Facility Management (FM) companies.
  • Technical Consultation: Provide technical support and guidance to clients on fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarms, pumps, and suppression systems.
  • Proposals & Quoting: Prepare detailed technical proposals, BOM (Bill of Materials), and commercial quotations, ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Site Surveys: Conduct site visits to assess client needs, evaluate hazards, and recommend optimal, compliant solutions.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and close sales contracts to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments (design, procurement, project management) to ensure proper project execution.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline updates, and CRM management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Fire Protection Engineering.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in sales within the firefighting/fire protection industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of NFPA standards, UL listed products, and local civil defense regulations.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD (for reviewing designs) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills, often requiring English and Arabic proficiency.
  • Certifications: Valid UAE driving license is typically mandatory.
