Role Overview

We are looking for a Sales Engineer – Agriculture who can combine technical understanding of agri-drone systems with strong field sales capability. The role involves engaging with farmers, FPOs, government agencies, and agribusiness clients to demonstrate our solutions, convert opportunities, and support deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new customers in agriculture, FPOs, agri-enterprises, and institutional markets

Conduct field demonstrations of agricultural drones and software platforms

Understand client requirements and recommend suitable drone solutions

Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and commercial offers

Coordinate with engineering and operations teams for deployment and training

Support marketing activities such as expos, farmer meetings, and workshops

Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, and periodic reports

Provide post-sales technical guidance and customer relationship support

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical, Electronics, or related field

1–4 years experience in technical sales / agriculture equipment / drones / agri-inputs

Strong communication skills in English + local language (Malayalam preferred)

Willingness for extensive field travel

Ability to explain technical products clearly to non-technical users

Preferred Skills

Experience with agriculture drones / precision farming / irrigation / farm mechanization

Familiarity with government agriculture schemes and subsidy programs

Demonstration & presentation skills

Problem-solving mindset with customer-centric approach
