Job Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Engineer to be part of our sales operations team in Lahore region. The ideal candidate should be passionate in sales with deep technical knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Warehousing Equipment. The candidate will be responsible for visiting industrial clients, identifying warehousing challenges, and selling solutions ranging from manual hand pallets to heavy-duty forklifts, electric stackers and other warehousing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify and target new business opportunities
  • Conduct daily field visits to warehouses, factories, and distribution centers to demonstrate equipment and assess client needs.
  • Build a robust pipeline of potential clients in sectors such as FMCG, Automotive, Textiles, Logistics, and Pharmaceuticals, etc.

2. Product Consultation & Sales

  • Act as a technical consultant to recommend the correct equipment (e.g., Diesel vs. Electric Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Stackers) based on the client's aisle width, load capacity, and lifting height requirements.
  • Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close deals while maintaining healthy profit margins.

3. Account Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring smooth coordination with the After-Sales Service team for parts and repairs.

4. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and new product launches in the MHE market.
  • Provide weekly sales reports, visit logs, and revenue forecasts to senior management.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required. (Preference given to B.Sc in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or BBA/MBA with technical aptitude).
  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of proven experience in B2B Industrial Sales.
  • Mandatory: Prior experience selling Material Handling Equipment (Forklifts, Stackers, Pallet Trucks) or related warehousing equipment.
  • Location: Based in Karachi

Key Competencies

  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of MHE specifications (Load centers, mast types, battery capacities).
  • Communication: Fluent in Urdu and English; capable of presenting to Warehouse Managers and C-level Executives alike.
  • Negotiation: Strong ability to close high-value capital equipment deals.
  • Resilience: Willingness to work in the field and navigate industrial environments daily.
