Position: Sales Engineer

Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and infrastructure solutions combined with proven sales experience in the UAE construction and industrial market. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building relationships with consultants and contractors, and driving sales for the company’s Electrical & Instrumentation solutions.
The role requires a proactive individual capable of understanding client requirements, preparing technical proposals, and converting opportunities into successful projects.
The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience working in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
· Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction, infrastructure, industrial, and oil & gas sectors in the UAE.
· Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and project owners.
· Tendering & Proposals: Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions in coordination with the engineering and estimation teams.
· Project Identification: Monitor upcoming projects, attend client meetings, conduct site visits, and identify potential sales opportunities.
· Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals through effective client engagement and project conversion.
· Technical Consultation: Provide clients with technical guidance and product recommendations based on project requirements and specifications.
· Market Intelligence: Track market trends, competitor activities, and new project developments to expand the company’s market presence.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
· Experience: Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the UAE market, preferably within electrical contracting, EPC companies, or electrical equipment suppliers.
Experience in construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas sectors will be considered an advantage.
· Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical power systems, switchgear, transformers, LV/MV distribution, lighting systems, and ELV infrastructure.
· Sales Skills & Market knowledge: Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with a proven ability to achieve sales targets. Good understanding of UAE project sales cycle, consultants, contractors, and tendering processes.
· Driving License: A valid UAE driving license is mandatory
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
