Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer with proven experience in architectural metal and structural steel to join our team in Doha.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving business growth, building strong client relationships, and delivering technical sales solutions for a wide range of architectural and structural steel projects.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in architectural metal and structural steel projects
- Promote and sell products such as:
- Handrails and balustrades
- Steel structures
- Cladding frames
- Pergolas and custom metal works
- Achieve assigned sales targets and support market expansion in Qatar
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with:
- Consultants
- Contractors
- Fabricators
- End clients
- Understand project requirements and propose suitable technical solutions
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and project discussions
3. Technical & Commercial Support
- Prepare quotations, BOQs, and detailed technical proposals
- Review tender documents, drawings, and project specifications
- Coordinate with design and production teams for accurate costing and solution development
4. Project Coordination
- Follow up on project lifecycle from inquiry to execution
- Ensure alignment between client expectations and internal teams
- Support smooth project handover and execution
5. Market Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming project opportunities
- Provide insights on pricing strategies and customer requirements
Requirements & QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Or related field
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer in architectural metal or structural steel
- GCC experience (Qatar preferred) is a strong advantage
Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of:
- Structural steel fabrication and erection
- Architectural metal works (handrails, balustrades, cladding, pergolas, decorative metal)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOQs
