The Sales Engineer is responsible for combining technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products and services. The role involves identifying client needs, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and ensuring successful project acquisition and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets
- Promote company products (e.g., steel structures, aluminum systems, façades, WPC doors, etc.)
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients, consultants, and contractors
- Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs
- Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and procurement teams
- Negotiate contract terms and close sales deals
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and ongoing projects
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies
- Ensure timely collection of payments as per contract terms
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, or related field)
- 2–5+ years of experience in sales engineering (construction or manufacturing preferred)
- Strong technical understanding of products and systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); AutoCAD is a plus
- Valid driving license (preferred in KSA market)
