Teemer Tech Pvt Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in Chennai to cover all the cities of South India. This role focuses on the automobile, oil and gas, and power generation sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and exceptional customer handling skills, enabling them to effectively communicate solutions and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of products and services in the automobile, oil and gas, and power generation industries to provide informed recommendations.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and expand market presence.
- Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers, showcasing features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Proposal Development: Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with client specifications and requirements.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure customer needs are met and feedback is communicated effectively.
- Training: Provide training and support to customers on product usage and best practices.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sales engineering role, with a focus on the automobile, oil and gas, or power generation industries.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of industry-specific technologies, products, and applications.
- Customer Handling: Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships and providing exceptional service.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions to meet client needs.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
