Sales Engineer (DAE Electrical/Mechanical)

1. Job Purpose

To promote and sell the company’s engineering products, solutions, and services by leveraging technical knowledge in Electrical/Mechanical domains. The Sales Engineer will bridge the gap between technical expertise and client needs, ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions that meet business and operational requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Identify, target, and approach potential clients in Oil, Gas, Cement, FMCG, Power, and Manufacturing industries.

Generate sales leads, follow up with prospects, and close deals in line with company sales targets.

Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.

Client Relationship Management

Understand customer needs and provide suitable technical solutions.

Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients and ensure customer satisfaction.

Act as the first point of contact for technical queries and coordinate with technical teams for solutions.

Technical Sales Support

Leverage knowledge of Electrical/Mechanical engineering to recommend appropriate products, machinery, and solutions.

Conduct site visits, demonstrations, and technical evaluations when required.

Explain product/service features, benefits, and applications in detail to non-technical clients.

Coordination & Reporting

Collaborate with engineering and service teams to ensure seamless execution of orders and projects.

Provide accurate sales forecasts, market intelligence, and competitor analysis to management.

Maintain records of sales, client interactions, and pipeline activities in CRM or reporting tools.

3. Qualifications & Skills

Education: DAE in Electrical/Mechanical

Experience: 6 months–1 year of sales/technical support experience in industrial, engineering, or manufacturing sectors (fresh DAE holders with strong technical aptitude may also be considered).

Skills:

Strong technical understanding of electrical/mechanical systems, equipment, or machinery.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.

Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.

Willingness to travel to client sites and industrial locations.

Salary : 40,000
