Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer – Fit-Out to join our growing team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and proven experience in fit-out or construction-related sales. The role focuses on business development, client relationship management, and promoting interior and fit-out solutions across commercial and residential projects.
A valid Qatar Driving License is mandatory for client visits, site inspections, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the fit-out, interior solutions, and construction sectors
- Generate leads through networking, market research, and client visits
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, architects, interior designers, and developers
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Technical Sales Support
- Understand client requirements and provide suitable fit-out and interior solutions
- Provide technical guidance on products, systems, and design specifications
Proposals & Presentations
- Prepare and deliver professional client presentations
- Develop quotations, proposals, technical submittals, and pricing documents
- Follow up on offers and convert opportunities into successful sales
Site Visits & Project Coordination
- Conduct regular site visits, client meetings, and project assessments
- Coordinate with project, design, and estimation teams for accurate proposals
- Ensure smooth transition from sales to execution phase
Market Analysis
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and project opportunities in Qatar
- Identify new business opportunities and emerging client needs
Negotiation & Closing
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with clients
- Ensure successful closure of sales deals aligned with company targets
Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, design, and project management teams
- Ensure project requirements are clearly communicated and executed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in Sales Engineering, preferably in Fit-Out or Construction industry
- Strong understanding of fit-out materials, interior systems, and construction project cycles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Valid Qatar Driving License is mandatory
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage)
Preferred Skills
- Experience dealing with consultants, contractors, architects, and developers
- Strong B2B sales and relationship management experience
- Knowledge of Qatar construction and fit-out market
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets
